Curriculum: EMRS focuses on tribal heritage, culture and languages and thus it is unique.
Career Development: All three have similar pay, although the promotion policies are still in their early stages at EMRS.
Difficulties: EMRS personnel might have poor infrastructure, but KVS/NVS usually have higher connectivity.

Preparation Strategy
Scholars recommend a three-pronged approach:
Books & Study Material -
Conceptual clarity: NCERT textbooks.
R.S.Aggarwal guides to Reasoning, Arihant guides to General Studies.
Mock Tests - Constant practice in the mock test site of NTA, as well as past years of EMRS , NVS & KVS exam papers.
Tribal Awareness - Learn about tribal communities, culture and government efforts that are frequently covered on EMRS exams.
It is essential that time should be taken care of and that the revision should be consistent, due to the level of competition.
